Whilst I wait for more phone calls about job interviews that are never going to come, I'll just take this opportunity to big up these gents: the fifth, and possibly last, Reckno night will be taking place on Saturday 11th August at the Portman Hotel's Green Room - featuring composer/rave-monger Germlin, of the notorious Gay Against You; indie-sludge princes True Swamp Neglect; folk concréte engineers Rasmus Clausen, and Seefeel-esque electro-gazer Robotdog. Five pounds on the door, and watch out for the locals at the bar - they're a bit inbred.

Closer in time lies the Forbidden Planet night at The Portman, where the ever-excellent Skitanja, and Planet Monkey (Random Loop Generator's circuit-bending project) will be playing, along with a DJ set from the warped Language Timothy!.
